Rental Property Minimum Standards Reports

Under the new rental laws, rental providers (landlords) must ensure that their rental property meets certain minimum standards.

The minimum standards apply only to rental agreements signed on or after 29 March 2021. Some of the standards have a phased approach.

Gippsland Property Inspection can help you comply with these new requirements by inspecting your property and reporting on what does or does not comply. The report will provide you with a list of any items that need to be made compliant and allow you to arrange these works to be carried out by the relevant trade by the compliance date. The report will contain photos that assist you and various trades to understand the findings.

Electrical, Gas & Smoke Alarms compliance must be carried out by qualified trades as it has been in the past and your property manager can arrange this separately for you.
